A Brief History of Leroux Creek Foods
Leroux Creek Foods, an operating fruit cannery located in Hotchkiss, CO, was started by Edward Tuft and his family in 1986. Leroux Creek Foods owns, operates and leases 690 acres of certified organic orchards. In 1988 Leroux Creek Foods became the first company to produce flavored apple sauces. Leroux Creek Foods has its own brand of apple sauce as well as packaging for other major grocery store chains across the country. The company also processes millions of pounds of organic apple puree which is exported and used by companies that manufacture baby food.
